2018 Baltimore Lab School Systematic Partnerships
As an Independent school and MSDE private placement facility, Baltimore Lab does not have a "higher" or central office level of support.

Head of School and the Baltimore Lab School Administration Team

Baltimore Lab Head of School, Steve Buettner and his administrative staff continue to support all aspects of the Maryland Green School program through annual professional development opportunities for all of our staff members.  This support began under the leadership of Head of School, Emeritus, David Lightfoot.
The Outdoor Education Department was created and supported by our administration with a full time staff member, a $10,000 budget and a 14 passenger school bus as a mobile  outdoor classroom.
Baltimore Lab School has matched the funds we receive each year from the Chesapeake Bay Trust Environmental Education Mini Grant.

In 2015, The Baltimore City Office of Sustainability chose the Baltimore Lab School Aquaponics program to be  funded by the Baltimore Community Foundation.  We continue to attend Baltimore City Office of Sustainability programs and workshops.
