Thanks to a grant from the Chesapeake Bay Trust (funded by sales of Maryland's Treasure of the Chesapeake license plate) we  leave our urban campus to get outside and learn through hands-on experiences. Most of our student driven best management practices are done off-site.

Every year, students in high school art and Intro to Technology class learn about human-powered transportation. One year, our sculpture had the theme of global warming and featured a polar bear.

Teachers:  Laura Parkhurst, Zac Lawhon, Anant Saran, Jackie Lesh, John Morgal, Karen Yeoman, Annette Fallon, John Mulherin, Erica Skoczylas, Robin Brooks, Richard Allen.
Students Use of Charm City Circulator during School Hours.

Trip to the Walters Art Museum and The Baltimore Book Festival.   

Seniors studying British Literature; 11th grade American Lit; and 9th and 10th grade students studying Greek Mythology.  Students gained insight into the relevance of their classwork to the wider community and neighborhood resources.
